Why is it the first pair selling $55 and the 2nd pair $60? Any different?

When u say pairing, does it mean the pair stay in harmory, or they will eventually breed?

I seems to me as a commercialised profit venture as well. The pricing seems to be going up as well?

I got my pair of true perc at CF for only $36. Those that are going at higher price such as $50-$100 will have more unique colour patterns that differentiate them from the normal true perc. Thus the premium.

hi hobbyists. This pair is being with me for a month. If you compare the latest pairing and the old pair, you'll see that the male black coloration is even and covers the whole body. The pricing is subjected to the color patten on the fish. Not making much profit, just enough to sustain my hobby thats all.

jus a question of my interest.

How do I know 2 clown fish are pair, beside one of them bigger than the other, using size to differential them ??

Hi! Thank you for the interest. In my own opinion. a successful pairing occurs when the 2 clownfishes do not show much aggression towards each other. In other words, they swim peacefully side by side. However, sometimes quarrels do happen but usually the submissive male, which is smaller in size will give in. For my self paired clownfishes, i usually choose a female which is about 2.5-3 times larger than the male. I'll observe the pair for at least 2 weeks to ensure that they are comfortable with each other presence.

A book which i bought recently from PR titled "Clownfishes" by Joyce D.wilkerson is a highly recommended book. Learn alot from the book.

I brought a pair from Dazer abt a week ago.

The pair is a gang. They always swim together. They are a great pair.

One of them is bigger then the other. There is no issue.

They will defend together if any fish comes to close to them or their anemone.
