looking for Royal Gramma

This is a caribbean Royal Gramma (scientific name: Gramma Loreto)

While this is brazilian gramma. (scientific name: Gramma brasiliensis)

Yup...I saw the actual specimen before...majestic!!!...

Note of their differences:

* Jaw line and dorsal fin.

Gramma Loreto got a black jaw line that past thru its pupil.

* different coloration.

Brazilian gramma violent colour was not so intense as compared to G.Loreto. And the fade from violet to yellow is more gradual.

are brazilian grammas as fierce as dottyback? .. I had a dotty once and even though its fierce and territorial, it doesn't attack my shrimps...

My brazilian gramma lives in harmony with my 4 cleaner shrimps(inch or bigger each) and my 2 blood shrimps(1 inch) ....no problem

I have 2 small ###### shrimp only about 1.2cm in size. Do you know if brazilian gamma would pick on them and finish them off?

Dont wanna get them and my ###### become meals for them.

I used to have a menace in the form of a false gramma (dottyback)...used to feast off the eyes of newly introduced cleaner shrimp.

Dottybacks has a rather mean temper, will make short work of shrimps ....
