LCK 110 got few..get quick :)

yah.. but at $25 each!!

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

is it brazilian gamma or royal gamma..

there's some mistakes by some reefers the other time..

the guy at 110 says its a brazillian gamma.

Anyway whats the difference between them? I can't find any info on brazilian gamma but many info and pics on royal gamma.

Brazilian Gamma mouth is bigger and not as colorful as the royal gamma. I have one brazilian gamma bought from there also. I'm also looking for a royal gamma.

how not colourful? Aren't they the same bicoloured?

There are hardly any write up on the brazillian gramma. Apart from the different areas that they can be found, I don't think there are much difference.

Eh mouth bigger i not sure but royal's mouth is nto small either... sorry to spoil your spot guys, IMO gramma loreto(royal gramma) might not come to singapore anymore maybe due to the fact that brazilian fish which consist of brazilian gramma are more readily available and cheaper compare to carribean fish which consist of royals, thus with this more supplier tend to ship fishes from brazil instead of carribean.....

easily available doesn't mean they are the same what! Price of the fish doesn't matter unless you are telling us that carribean fishes would cost 10 times more..

People are willing to spend $250 on a Helfrichi Firegoby. Why then can't they bring those in? I doubt it would be that expensive.

gramma loreto(royal gramma) are from the US forida but due to poor contacts, high handling cost as well as unethical practise by some of the Forida supplier, local LFS find it not worth taking the risk to bring in the fish. The cost of a IMO gramma may cost in the region of $50 to $70 as compare to $25 for the brazilian gramma which is half the price.

I am also incidentally looking for Royal Gamma. Got a few questions.

1. Can Royal and Brazilian co exist or will they kill one another?

2. Are they Reef safe?

:thanks:

never mix a loreto aka royal gramma with a brazilian gramma. Loretos are excellent or perfect reef fishes, even for beginners. But they are mild, brazilian grammas are more territorial and tends to pick on mild substrate dwellers...so it will tend to bully the mild tempered loreto gramma. Avoid putting them together, that is if you can find the loretos, i have been looking for it for nearly a year over here.... <_<
