SRC Member SunkistC Posted November 5, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted November 5, 2014 Bro for me no matter what sequence I introduce the tangs, bound to have aggressive ones that will bully the newcomer.. so what i do is to trap out and isolate the aggressive ones and let the newcomer settle down and feed well before releasing the aggressive ones back to the display tank.. SRC Member Angel Keeper Posted November 5, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted November 5, 2014 For me, I put them into QT... Feed them until fat fat, then release them in DT... There will be aggression... But as long as it's healthy, it'll know where to hide and come out for food... Another option is to use mirrors... Most of the time they will fight with the other Tang in the mirror and give the other Tangs some space... SRC Member kenyee Posted November 5, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted November 5, 2014 Luck..although there is some guides that might b of some help: 1) smaller to bigger 2) introduce all/2-3 together at the same time 3) rescape 4) feed well b4 introduce 5) introduce at night w/o light 6) use beta box to acclimate new fish 7) more expensive fish 1st etc... usually the size if different by more than 2", they won't bother..but note that yellow, purple, brown, black tang r more aggressive towards each other..my experience with powder blue tang is also very aggressive..some r not though..wish all lucky lucky :-) Cheers & happy reefing Quote @ 291213 Updated video: Kenyee FOWLR http://m.youtube.com/my_videos

SRC Member Angel Keeper Posted November 5, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted November 5, 2014 3 days in my QT and they stopped chasing each other... I think keeping them without territories is key... See the basket? Whenever I see aggression near the basket, I move the basket to another area... That re-scapes the tank and discourages territorial behaviour...
