will bubbles affect sea horses?

gonna put sea horses in my refugium...

nitrates are low already...

however there are bubbles in the water due to the outlet from my skimmer...

read somewhere that they will affect or kill the sea horses...

want to check if its true...

please reply quick as they are still in the bag floating in my tank...

They will get bubble disease if i am not wrong...

it depends on the sh, some get it some don't, my kuda tank have a skimmer, some got the GBD, rest did nt got it... My Reidi tank have a air driven skmmier, been using for mths liao, no GBD wor..... wat specis is ur's bro ryan?

the bubbles are coming from skimmer outlet...

i put my tray of sea lettuce below the outlet to trap the bubbles...

works but not very well...

any suggestions?

got stripes on tail? where u get it? shld reduce the bubbles.. a bit would't harm them, ime nt all sh will get GBD jus my experinece though.....

got it from PR...

they are yellow and sometimes turn grey...

erm.... if nt wrong, u have H. barbs, as h.kudas r more smooth bodied like tigertails and reidi. it's a gd sh to start wif, easy to train to feed frozens, try to use a feeding station.

how do you train them?

just out the mysis on a saucer and hope they eat right?

try to throw abit of mysis infront of them, ime Barbs will learnt to eat frozens very fast, some takes less than 2 days! if they start eating the mysis, next time when u feed them, instead of throwing infront of them, place in the feeding bowl, they learn to take it there, if the sh don eat the frozens, try getting small ghost shrimp, first put live ones in, they go crazy and start to chase them, after a few days try feeding them freshly kill ghost shrimps, then later on feed freshly ghost mix wif mysis, till they start to take mysis, u can 4get abt ghost liao.... hope it helps...
