Very nice Zoa Garden! Do you use any supplements to achieve such good healthy growth?

I have a flame angel (purchased from Marine Life). Does not touch any of my Zoa.

But does nip on new SPS for a couple of minutes whenever a new one is placed in. It ignores the SPS after that.

Better qt your fa and teach it to eat pallet 1st. After that, throw in 1 cheapo zoas to test water see if it eat zoas anot.

Angel and zoas really don't go well together. my fa never touch zoas for 3 weeks, than 1 fine day choose to clear my zoas.... few hundreds gone. Heart very pain....

I read that one way to 'prevent' the flame angel from eating coals is to keep them well fed.

Having some seaweed on a clip can keep them grazing & occupied.

Chris, there are other "red" striking fishes around.

FA is definitely not a wise choice.

With your current residences, Flame wrasse aka Cirrhilabrus jordani, is a better choice for now.

Don't learn ur lesson the hard way.
