How does Phosphate Reactor works

Had bought a RAD brand fluidized bed reactor, added phosphate remover media but it don't seem to have the media moving up and down as bio pellet

Is it normal? N I also realize that after 4hrs after installation, the water remains cloudy

Any advice on this?

The person in the video a bit naggy, but watching his videos still quite informative. You can watch the rest of his videos too. It provides good information even though not everyone will agree 100% on his methodology of DSB.
