PasirRis farm also almost kana last year, but seems that now can extend a few more years.

Looks like all farms need to move to pulau Ubin sooner or later, sigh.

The problem is always that the tenants will need to rent a new place and new place many of the time entails higher rental cost, sigh..

I hope this will not be a trend. If they can't let us have lck and pasir ris, I do hope they will retain a location for farms, or at least build something like goldfish street in hk.

There's a stretch of farms behind bottle tree park also! Maybe the can expand that area! I used to go there in my freshwater days

Maybe few year later down e rd. Marine farm will become lesser and lesser . Due to no place to stay. If not will be very very deep in inconvenience area and worst thing no bus.

There used to be afew marine farms in tampines rd. End up also kana chased.. I think now become heavy vehicle carpark liao.

I don't mind if it's a factory style where different story got different farm. Heee.. fully air con or well ventilated.

Seriously, farms add to uniqueness of Singapore. It is an attraction by itself.

I once show Pasir Ris farms to some tourist guests and they were impressed with such developed country and scarse land we still have farming area with well built / maintained road. It was a good excursion that they enjoyed.

I personally enjoy going to farms more than going orchard road.

Not just marine farms, but like any cultivation farms, vegetable farm, crocodile farms, frog farms, Plant nurseries (Orchid, bonsai, etc etc), and so many more others!

If my kids in the future cant get to see these, I'll feel sad for them man.

Sad to say end of the day their decision seems to be inclined towards image and figures.
