i have a large sea apple. is it poisonous? i plan to put ich medicine in the tank. so i afraid is the poison as strong as Sea anemone release poison?

Firstly, make sure the Ich medicine is reef-safe.

If it was me, i'll remove the sea apple(be careful not to stress it) to a seperate tank filled with water from your tank. Once stressed/dead, a sea apple would release toxins which can wipeout the tank.

Sea Apples are highly dangerous and toxic. If you have another tank, my advice will be to move the sea apples to the other tank just to be safe.

Out of curiosity, are there any ICH medicine which is totally reef-safe? i dunt think and highly doubt so... thats why the effective and only recourse in a reef tank is to give garlic soaked food to the inhabitants and pray...

put garlic then fish dont eat, what the use. but got ich medicine copper free. lab tested . product of USA

there's quite a few actually. I'm using Marine Max (I think.. gotta go back and confirm).Its a 2 part formula. Not sure about the effectiveness though coz I bought it as a precaution. Just incase there is an outbreak but my UV have been doing a good job.

Also there is another brand salifert.. Can be found at Reborn.. Both around $20+.
