I also wish to frag my white Xenia. But till now I still dare not do that since my white Xenia is much more expensive than brown one

wow! beatiful! where u get it? tinking of getting different coloured xenia nw! i got mine at CF. maybe u try snipping jus one flower or polyp off and try to c if they grow, mine does, from one flower to a stalk of flower liao.

I got mine at LCK110. Price is around 5 times of the brown once.

The attached picture is taken last year. Now it has grown double its size. Thanks for your suggestion of fragging a polyp only, may give it a try.

If it survive and grow into one stalk, then we can exchange from each other. Wait... My white one is much more ex than your brown one So one white stalk for five brown stalk, more fair duel?

I read from a book before that Xenia can release toxic which maybe be harmful to fish as well.

So I wonder fragging it can stress it and release harmful toxic or not.

I agreed to this. My brain coral used to be expand twice its original size. Now I never seen the brain open that much when I placed a xenia next to it. However, I like this result since I hate my brain coral always expand too big and drop from the rock. Now this never happen again.

Somehow Xenia has the ability to release some chemical to prevent its nearby coral from outgrowing it.
