JUICE MAKER! thats bad! will need to becareful of our friend moving around! should the tank be running normal before add it in? example, wave maker on etc?
Bro best that everything is on first . They need medium flow, so find a strategic rock that you like it to stay n hold it there for a few seconds. So far my 4 RBTA didn't move once I place them on the location I want. If the RBTA does move, it could be due to flow, lighting etc

Best to "test" the water first by keeping a few corals, if they are happy, then higher chance that your anemone will too

Would like to say that this is definitely a good setup. It is also aesthetic in design, very nice to look at. I think maybe a mushroom coral or something first. Then if it survives, then I suggest... well... Im not really sure. Perhaps the other members can suggest. For curiosity's sake, what did you do with the crab? Cook it or flush it?

Hi once again!

Thank you all for reading my thread and to those that gave good advices.

I did a check with the test kit. Salifert ones.

0 for nitrite but however. I am not too sure whether how should i compare for the nitrate test? looking from top or side?

I swirl for 30seconds and waiting 3mins to take the test results. Is that right?

Here is a picture, might not be accurate though

Hi to everyone again!

Any one here have a guideline to how much flow from the wave maker is correct?

Is there any particular flow rate? Some people told me its estimate and see.

need to gain as much knowledge as possible.

2nd week clocked now! Can put up my light by tmr.

Also for the T5 fixtures, any format of placing the tubings? mine is a 6 tubes fixture.

i currently have:

1x attinic

1x purple plus

2x blue plus

2x coral plus [white]

Thanks once again for help and advice!

Depends on what you intend to keep. Would suggest you to buy an adjustable rate wavemaker. Rw series is relatively cheap and works well for me ah.

Hi!

I have a wavemaker already with adjustable rate.

I only need to know how much is enough for the tank. Those that are using the MP40Wes wavemaker, how much flow do you adjust to?

I am use 5 blue dots for now on both sides.

Thanks

Bro, 15 times and above would be a starting point for LPS. Monitor how your coral react and adjust accordingly.

Thanks for the compliment, they are very beautiful also with blue lines on the white part near the black. not too sure how to describle as they move very fast to get a proper shot.

Got them from AM!
