Hi, i'm looking for a lfs that can import in the fish that i want.

So anyone can recommend me a lfs that can import in most fishes that can be keep in private aquarium?

Whats the locality of the fish youre looking for? I have been approaching many lfs and farms to locate the fish i want too.

Most of our farms and lfs primarily import from Philippines and Bali, some have more diverse suppliers like maldives, red sea, hawaii and Australia (e.g. tfc, lck201, ac, sealife, marine life, etc). IME, most diverse is iwarna followed by cf. This is what has been advised to me by other farms and lfs as well when i approach them.

Aside from locality, sometimes the fishermen used by the suppliers that our local importers use just dont catch the fish we want. For example, I've been looking for a particular fish from Indonesia and another from Hawaii. Indonesia shipments come in weekly for many importers and hawaii shipments maybe once a month. However, the suppliers just don't have the fish i want on their stocklist, even though they have been appearing in America regularly.

I think the fishes that i want is more in the western part of the world.

So i hope to find a lfs that do have suppliers in thw western countries.

Perhaps you'd like to state the fish you're looking at, so that fellow forumers can help you to keep an eye out for the species?

Alternatively, you could check out the Weekly LFS Report to see if there's something which you want

There is just too many species of fish/coral in the marine aquarium trade and I believe that each LFS is more than willing to help you with what you're looking for

Iwarna can get it. But it will be expensive. Any fish that needs to be shipped in round containers and unloaded using machinery will never be cheap. The transportation costs alone cost more than the fish. The fish will probably end up costing a few thousands. Baby hammerheads can be imported as well, just that it is very costly.

The word "western countries" are too general. Good to state the name of fishes, maybe some fishes have no demand at all. So no collector. Or some fishes are simply to expensive and dead on arrived as they are too sensitive. For this case, who foot the bill?
