also wanna ask, is there any way to prevent this? so far i bought torch a few times, all got BJD and died not long after. everything else has been ok, hammer / sps etc.. seems for me i can't keep torches alive :dunno:

I faced a similar situation, wiped out 5 of my Euphyllia. All died with brown jelly looking stuff around the skeleton of the flesh. I tried freshwater dip with each new purchase before putting them in my tank but it doesn't work. Keeping as a minimalist now.

Nox, I share your pain bro. Lost 3 torches so far to bjd. Even tried saving them by dipping and fragging off affected heads. Everything else including hammers ok. Can't seem to keep torches alive and they are supposed to be quite easy

Yup .. lost 3 torches recently too .. will not try torch again they just decided after 2 months blooming .. suddenly within a week start losing 1 head at a time .. tried cleaning it off .. chopping the dying head .. nothing seems to help .. now left 1 head of green torches waiting to rip ..
