NP biopellet

The initial cloudiness indicates bacteria bloom which will settle down in a few days time. I notice that the cloudiness is cleared faster with skimmer vs no skimmer. Personal observation.

Add half a dosage or less and slowly increase to prevent bacteria bloom and cloudiness

My personal thought is, I would. More media means more bacteria and cope better w higher bioload. And when my FR fail me, it won't be that bad cuZ my liverocks and media can cope for 1 day or so while I fix my FR.

Personal encounter was my FR failed me and created much more spikes in parameter. I just off it and let my normal filter works. Although I lost 4 corals to the parameter spike before I managed to fix the FR, my tank recovered fast with existing bacteria to cope w the bioload while it regenerates and starts bacteria from my FR.

Just some noob thoughts.
