Cleaner Shrimp Spawning..

My cleaner shrimp is spawning.. I am seeing many small shrimps floating around in the tank... any chance of survival rate? .. ..

I dun expect any chance of survival though but hope there is.. .. if not then they will just be food for my goby and blennies..

Had that happen all the time. Keeping shrimps in a reef tank is a good idea because of their frequent spawning will create natural fishfood and coral food.

If you want to culture shrimps, you have to culture them seperately then. And seperate the fry from their parents in a seperate grow-out tank. Quite a bit of work to feed them enough with appropriate foods and yet control water quality.

They survived cos in my old 100 litres, there are no fishes, only coral and has lots of macro algae glowing. I dose DT daily.

I lost them when I was without chiller for 2 days.

ahhh.. I dun think I want to go thru so much fuss.. .. just let them be..

anyway I dun see my other shrimps spawn.. it seems cleaners spawn more frequently..
