Obito
I think best is take it out and dose treatment. Unless yours is fowlr and have no intend to add corals/inverterbrates next time. Because one of the best treatment for ich is copper and its harmful to coral/inverterbrates. Quote Sharkssssss.
SRC Member asg Posted September 23, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted September 23, 2014 if you DT is new.... most likely would be you QT is new as well... new = unstable water parameters = bad for your fish = ... SRC Member Angel Keeper Posted September 23, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted September 23, 2014 If it's a new FOWLR tank, just perform hyposalinity on the DT. Angel Keeper
calvin f.h
Best is to give yr fish a fresh water dip. Just a few second or max 1 min only, gently try to wipe the spot away from yr fish. My clownfish have this problem too. Happy reefing
Avrilovigne
Not sure how "new" is your tank but IMHO, one shouldn't add any fish until at least one month of proper cycling and water testing. What are the water parameters?
SRC Member digibee Posted September 26, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted September 26, 2014 Don't stress the fish further; just feed it with anti-parasitic caviar by Dr G. The fish should recover if it is strong enough and feed well. Quote () Happy will do ... (o_o)
oceania
To boost my fish's immune, I soak their feeds in garlic dips
