Just when i thot this month nothing to buy... my second hand ehim caninster broken...

Sian... have to wait till tmr to get a new one... luckily i still have 50% bio filter as in bio sphere and bio pellets...

越想越生气. The idiot part about this hobit is that some things will always go wrong some time and some ways. If it is not coral then it is fish, if coral and fish ok then equipment is spoilt. And when finally everything is ok... alarm rings and it is you realise it is a dream....

05/12/14 - Canister, Frags and nice reefer

As usual, a FTV for the update.

Few things happened during the week. First my second hand ehiem 2217 canister broke down when I am cleaning it. I guess there is a mati time for everything... even for eheim. So here I go, spent my entire monthly reefing budget on a new eheim pro 3 2075 canister.

Next thing is that got some new LS from a nice reefer and got some nice FOC frags when I bumped into another reefer while collecting the LS. Always nice talking to young generation reefers. Make me feel younger.... a bit. Thanks bros for the good gestures.

Tough week, re-scaped my LR to cater for the needs of some new SPS... All in all, got myself five SPS fags to try SPS out. Have been reading a lot on SPS this week and have to admit, not sure will the SPS survive in my largely LPS and fish tank. There is only that much I am willing to sacrifice for these colourful sticks. So let's keep my fingers crossed and pray for the best.

If I can only say one sentence to the then myself who just started reefing years back, no doubt the sentence would be 养鱼先养水

Think long and think hard about the sentence and 90% of the mati cases can be avoided.
