PL Lights enough for anemone??

Hi Guys! Are PL lights enough for anemones. My tank height is 1.5 feet and my lights are 36 watts x 2 bulb! Thks.

had no prob keeping a bta for a year. but since yr lights nt dat gd, better feed it with prawn regularly

Hi BT, this is slightly off topic but do you mind telling me how do you fit 36W PL to a 1.5 tank? From my understanding, most 36W PL fixtures are for 2 feet tank.

As for the question, I have kept anemone for 6 months in a 2 feet tank with 3 x 36W PL. So far so good, no sign of bleaching or discomfort. it doesn't even deflat at all or move around, unlike my first anemone.

PL I got no problem having an anemone for sometime.

but u got to check condition of water, plus the anemonefish is taking good care of it. Tomato clown is a poor mate for anemone.
