You should use fan for a 1ft cube as it takes less electricity

Was considering that but my room temp is quite warm. Hard to bring down to 27-28 degrees as i want it.

After having one through 2 "just nice" sized chillers. I honestly feel having a chiller "too big for the job" would be better.

It can effectively bring down ur tank's temperature within minutes and then switched off while "just nice" chillers are often running 24/7 because they take hours to bring down your tank's temperature, many times not even being able to reach the desired temperature.

This would also translate to way shorter running times per month and much lesser electrical usage.

I've thought of that too. But wouldn't running a 1/10 chiller on a 19L tank be too overkill? Im looking for more of a 1/20 or 1/15 chiller for the tank. But seems to be harder to find now adays.

Bro, have you thought of upgrading your tank anytime soon? If that thought ever come to your mind, I suggest to hold on first, if not buy liao after awhile need to buy new one again.
