yq33
I've never tried triangle butterfly, but when I got my saddleback I started feeding it live mysis, but a saddleback is much easier I guess. Avrilovigne
hihi, hubby's fowlr tank has a triangle butterfly that I haven't seen eat anything since we got it. wondering if any reefers hv successfully kept one alive before. tks, Jen What is a triangle butterfly? Scientific name or pic? Anyway, butterflies are advanced level fish and some are exclusive coral feeders. Best to read up before buying
Jenaellyn
It is chaetodon baronessa n i suspect it's an exclusive coral eater. However, was hoping to glean expertise from reefers who may hv kept it successfully before. Ty for replying. Cheers, Jen
SRC Member solasido Posted September 14, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted September 14, 2014 Seems that it is going to be difficult unless can feed it with SPS. It is fish to totally avoid according to this article as it feeds exclusively on acropora polyps only: http://orphek.com/butterflyfish-compatibility-with-corals/
