I used to use NTUC pure water, no need add salt. But found out its not exactly pure and its too much hassle, just buy a DI unit.

I used life distilled water, but then hard to carry back home always, so switched tap water with seachem prime. Agree with bro clement best is get a di unit.

Better to use distilled or di water. Tapwater with seachem prime still contains nutrients which cant be compared to distilled / di.

Hope this vid will be useful in understanding tds in water.

I have personally tested tapwater with seachem prime and the tds increased just like in the vid.

The office dispensers I'm referring to in the office are those that use 5gallon drums that need to be replaced when empty, not those water purifying dispensers running on filtered cartridges.

I read that the ph of the polar water is sround the 6.4 range . So do take note to buffer up the ph .
