green element LED for two feet is about $165 per set. one set is 48 watt, so two set would be 96 watt, shall be more than enough for 2ft tank. the catch is 96 watt might be a tat too strong...

alternatively you can buy two set of aquazonic 2 ft T5 light sets, one set is two tube (2*24 watt), then you can have one set all white and one set all blue.

mine is a two feet tank as well. I am using a green element evo 16*3 watt + a two ft blue pro z led (around 20 watt) abt $75. I would say that this combo serve my LPS pretty well. only thing i dont like is that the total of 68 watt might not be enough for SPS...

Nice tank ! I'm thinking of doing something like this too ! But more fishes ! 68 watts is enough to keep corals like torch, bubble, etc ? I'm not thinking of getting sps yet, seems hard . Still a beginner ! First time setting up my tank ! Thanks for the advice !

Any btw, bro, can I have the list of equipments you are using for your tank, like skimmer, chiller etc . Like brands and specs . Thanks again ! May I also have a picture of your sump . I would like to see what is required for the filter for a 2ft tank sump .

yo bro, for lighting wattage I go by the guidelines of: bright (LPS and maybe some SPS) = 3-5 watt per gallon and very bight is >5 watt (SPS), so i guess 68 watt for my 2*1*1 is about right.

sad to say, i do not have a sump, so for the past two months since I have my 2ft tank, i am using a eheim canister as my main filter, supplement with two HOD small filters. other equipment I have are a hailea HS28 chiller, corallife 9W UV, tunze 9002 skimmer and two set of LED as mentioned (but I already bought a ZETLIGHT ZT6500 so shall be selling off the two set of LED soon). so far so good in my case. :pirate:
