Dear all , I have a 3ft by 2x2 tank , I have a small yellow angel

, a small bi colour angel , 1 small bi color blenny , I small purple strip dotty back , 2small mandarin , 2 cleaner shrimp . 1 cleaner wrasse ... Recently I notice my hammer getting smaller , all my corals spread widely but , hammer seemed becoming food to unknown fish or a mystery , pls kindly enlighten me on these ... As I'm working 9-6 pm , when I'm home I never notice any major attacking on the hammer , water parameter she'd be fine as my sps n others corals seemed alright , only green hammer badly affected...

Angelfish are known to nip at corals and caution must be taken when keeping 1 with your corals. It may not nip in previous tank but decided to nip in new tank for whatever reason we may know. My half guess is your bicolor or yellow angel fish.

Angels usually don't bother euphyllias... Most likely it wasn't in the best of health already... I don't bother too much if it does fast when I just bought it... But if it's in your tank for 6 months then suddenly dies, then I'll be worried...

Bro try isolating it in sump or elsewhere to see if there are any changes. Try putting it in low flow with same amount of light if u dun want to put in sump. Also monitor if there are any brown jelly substances on it if there are quickly take it out and isolate it cos its a sign of brown jelly disease. I noticed ur hammer is quite big. It could be that the hammer got injured by the fish while it was swimming or because of too high flow causing it to injure over time. Hope this helps
