Hi Kel, this is just a general statement because growing mangrove requires more work, material and space. Chaeto is more effective if you are thinking of refugium.

IMHO, I rank :

Skimmer

Water change ( 1-3 years set up )

Rowa Phos

Bact dosing + bio pallets

Deep sand bed with live rocks in refugium.

These are what I used and shouldn't be the model answer.

ATS is as effective, so is zeovit and others.
