Does anyone know how big a tank or what is the diet or set up etc...?

Google can find lots of info for it. In short u will probably need a tank about 10' x 4' x 4' or larger. Of coz there will be pple who say still too small or no need so big. Very subjective. Depends on whether u wan to see it swim anot. U will need a large sump or just a few super big barrel to increase water volume. Filtration have to be good coz they are messy eaters. Need a incredibly large and proficient skimmer. They are not really picky eaters. I've seen pple feed them almost any kind of dead marine life. U can check out the farms at lck. They can provide a better picture for u.

Thank you bro.. Your suggested size if for how big fish. If the intended size of shark I want to keep is 10inches two pcs. Is 6x2.5x2.5 ok?

U wanted a black tip reef shark right? They can grow to about 4-6ft. It depends on what species u are looking at. If u are talking about cat or bamboo shark. They typically grow to about 2-3ft. So a 6/2.5/.25 could be adequate. But of coz same story. Will have pple tell u too small lol. U can apps me at 96639o88 if u wanna ask more.

You need big really big tanks with super good filteration as they are messy eaters and no rocks or deco can be in the tank even the shape of the tank should be round as shark don't bump their nose on anything or edges of the tank Best kept in oceans

please do not keep any sharks in any sort of tank or enclosure, they really do deserve only the ocean.

not forgetting they require constant flow in their gills if im not wrong, which means they need to swim constantly and requires huge flow of water. all these cannot be easily done by common hobbyist. suggest you go SEA aquarium admire sharks instead.

A LFS advice me that a 6x2.5x2.5 can keep them seem not right after hearing from all the bros here.

And I specifically like Evolutionz mention go to sea aquarium and admire better and leave them in the ocean. Haha.

A reef shark cost around 4-450 bucks. The bumping of tank only happens during acclimatize of the shark and after which, they get used to the tank after a few days and lightings are important for them during familiarization of their new home.

They are not a messy eater. MP will do good. Sharks belongs to the ocean, if this is a statement, same goes to coral and marine fishes. size is one thing but taking good care of it like a pet is another. If you keep marine fish and coral but not taking care of it, any difference? Simple, want to save and protect, do it for all. And for baby reef shark, normal birth rate is around 5-8 babies per pregnancy. Usually est only around 3 will make it because the rest will either be eaten by their mom or other predators. This is their cycle. You may just save another one if you have a good tank and take really good care of it.

The species that really need to keep moving is hammer head, not reef. Hammer will get drowned by the overturn of water current if they stop moving. In fact, you see reef resting at seabed sometime, of cause not always.
