Do these methods negate any effect of biological filtration? Not too sure if they kill nitrifying bacteria

Some of the bacteria might be killed when it pass through the UV chamber, but since most of the bacteria is house under our bio filtration ( Bio media ), hence the overall biological filter will not be affected much.
