Mandrin fish

Hi guys, i don noe if this is the suitable category to ask tis question but yuh. Bare with me

I'm lookin for any information on mandrin fishes.

Has anyone every kept mandrin fishes?

Where to buy such fishes?

it is quite common in ah beng. need a mature tank with sufficient copepods to be kept. cannot keep in too small tank

Im keeping it in my tank for a few weeks already, seems quite ok. I have a 2ft dt with a 2ft sump. I bought copepod cultures to seed my sump. also i feed arctic pods on alternate days.

@ClementC, may I ask how you catch the copepods from sump to feed the fish in DT? I have plenty of them in my sump with cheato, they tend to hide when I'm going to catch them.

i dun catch them. they go up on their own via the return pump. some times u can give ur chaeto a good shake and im sure some will go up

A well balanced fed aquarium will maintain or keep the pods in numbers.

it will die of hunger if insufficient food provided.
