xiggie
Check out the mineral content , should have bout 20mg of sulfate in mineral water not quite sure but can check should be written on the bottle . It should be better if u used those bottled distilled or RO drinking water. I've used Giant brand distilled water for topups/wC without any drastic ill effects. SRC Member Firestarter Posted July 31, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted July 31, 2014 Do not use mineral water. Use distilled water instead. Dasani is mineral water if I remember correctly. Admiraltian
Dasani pure drinking water, all contents stated on labels is 0. But when I tested the TDS is 84. There's another brand called Ice Cool pure drinking water which I tested was 2ppm. Now I'm unsure why they label as pure but inside TDS level so high?? moonwater
i'm using the NTUC life distilled water to mix for my ESV 2 part
resser
I use this for diluting carbon source and 2 parts. It gets expensive fast if you use it for saltmix or top up. Quote Materialism :- He who dies with the most toys, wins.
SRC Member Firestarter Posted August 1, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted August 1, 2014 Pure drinking water and distilled water are totally different. Your tds is high because there are minerals in the water. Try to test on ntuc or life distilled water and the reading shld be close to 0. Planted
Life distilled 1.5litre has added Na. May not be as "distilled" as it is. I'm using ntuc although didn't get to measure tds. Corals appearing fine for the time being. Anyone measured tds for ntuc pure drinking water before?

Nox
Hm why don't you guys invest in a ro Di filter? I think over time it is very worthwhile as buying water costs money and lots of effort
flankell
looks like the drinking water added mineral as the TDS is high. better use distilled water...
