Should i use old chiller for new marine tank?

I have a old chiller that used to run on a freshwater shrimp tank, model is teco RA240 (ancient model seriously), used for abt 2 years, is it advisable to use it for the marine tank I'm about to set up? (Idk if the heat exchanger is titanium or not, hence rust could form and affect the tank)

The teco RA model was design for both fresh and marine setup.

No reason why u cannot re-use unless it is under power for your new setup.

I think it is 1/3 hp, and my tank would be a 2ft cube, so i guess it should be fine right? (:

Play safe u can use vinegar to clean the chiller. Mix with water and run few hrs from out to in and then run with water only to have final clean. Google it and you will find the detail method.

Some chiller like arctica after 5yrs still running strong so I dun see any reason why can't use if it's still working well.

Should not be a problem as long as the new setup is within the chiller capacity
