That is a TEM nano chiller that works the same as an ice probe. It is only good for tanks of small volume.

Is As what I mention for my 1ft tank never go for bigger tank and price is around what Bunster's link. Noise level very low. So far so good I use it more than a month.

Understand small volume of water very hard to control the water parameter but due to space issue. I decided for this nano tank. Before this i never use chiller, but this nano year with me more than a year of course with the fishes but not coral.

I don't think it runs full wattage of 100 watt 24/7. Possibly only run when activated. So a clearer check would be how long it requires for chiller to kick in and how long it takes to chill. That may be a better gauge?

AL-30: Suitable for 10L – 30L aquarium tank

Your tank size is 10 gal ~ 37L. Its too big for the chiller to cool down. And even if your tank size is small enough, sometimes your pumps, wavemaker, lights will also contribute to the heat. This kind of chiller is good for those IQ3 or IQ5 type of tanks. And even if your tank were the max suitable volume of 30L, it can only cool down to say avg 29'C - 30'C in sg weather. You're better off getting a compressor chiller instead.

Hi bro. Yes, I do take all these in to consideration. Since the chiller can support up to 30l, so I thought why not give it a try for my new fowl tank. I only want my temp to go down to below 30, cause my room temp can go all the way up to 33 even with the cooling fan. Anyway, the water flowing out from the chiller is not even cold at all. So I suspect the chiller might be faulty. Thanks for your advice!
