Try ocean nutrition green/ red seaweed, Frozen mysis, frozen brine shrimp. Can also try flake. If really last resort, go buy fresh prawn and fish and all those 贝壳from supermaket then minced it and try feeding it... i am staying in punggol area, if you dont mind, i can pass you some seaweed and dry food mentioned above so that you can test feed it before decide to buy or not.

True.. try seaweed and tie it to a piece of small rock or sea shell and place it slowly to the area where your kole tang hang out. Hopefully he will eat bro. If he doesnt dont panic although a week without food to me is quite long. Hopefully no other fast and aggressive fish in the same tank. That might prevent him for fully acclimating from my experience although im still learning. What i did normally and with success is i feed more times than normal day and off 1 pump during feeding. Of course i watch my water quality. Hopefully it helps bro

Although he doesnt eat, does he show any response to food flying around him bro. If he does u still got chance. As the reefer upstairs said variety is key. I ever crushed my pellet slightly so that become even smaller pieces to entice my fish to eat before. Just not too much and the smaller pieces must fall near him. I got no experience with kole tang. Only yellow tang. But 1 lfs owner told me b4 that kole tang ship poorly so important to buy fish that is already eating and healthy and stable. At least more than half the battle won.

I c....hopefully he will make it bro.. me too will get freaking worried. Hope he is nibbling something on your rocks at night to sustain himself before he take your food. As one of the reefer asked above , is he already eating in lfs?

Since he is nibbling on the rocks.. its a good thing but not so good cos i think might not be sufficient in our enclosed area.hope for the best bro. Fun hobby but not fun when our fish dont eat. Most or some of us sure encounter this problem. Learnt my lesson before as a newbie but im lucky using the method i mentioned above it does work at least for me. There was once my fish eating greedily for months n suddenly stop eating overnight for no reason for a week. Cant bear to see the fish suffer i gave him to lfs. Im not trying to say u have to do the same bro. Its just me bro.

Bro, rubber band the seaweed on a rock and leave it in the water for 12 hours, this helps the fish to have plenty of time to familar itself. Also, please try fresh prawn/ fish from ntuc. So far most fish i tried would not resist it.
