Hi , I want to get a quarantine tank for my 6ft tank.

But I don't know how big should my tank be.

I usually get medium size angels so can someone advice me ?

And what kind of filteration should I have and must I have a chiller ?

A qt tank is any tank that can fit ur fish comfortably, and should be small enough to make it Convinent for you to maintain n handle. You need a simple filtration set up, like a hang on board filter, canister, or overhead filter. You may or may not require a chiller, can utilise a fan to cool the tank and just top off water as necessary.

Get a return pump to link to your sump tank

The purpose of a quartine tank is to prevent unwanted parasites to infest into the dt. In case of disease, the fish can also be treated in a qt. I strongly disagree with the above statement of a return pump to your sump. This will tramsit parasites to your dt through your qt.

I have just gotten a 2ft tank with simple filteration but no protein skimmer is it ok ?

You won't need a protein skimmer cos you'll need to change water from the QT quite frequently.

Have to change water every 2 days. Otherwise the water will turn cloudy and ammonia/nitrate spike
