I'm just posting my current tank updates after the DIY done from the link below.

Nice. Btw, thot Suns need moderate to low lightungs. Does the part not shaded doing good?

Not really... the entire pcs doing well unded shaded or non-shaded.

Only things is that you need to constantly feed them.

Not really... the entire pcs doing well unded shaded or non-shaded.

Only things is that you need to constantly feed them.

The 3 pcs of dead epoxy rocks that will be going into my DT. ( work in progress ).

The cable tie has been removed.

These few pcs will undergo vinegar dip plus DI water rinse in the next coming couple of weeks before swap with my existing LR in the DT.

I have just soaked the 1pc of my rock with vinegar.

Now is rinsed and let to dry before further running with sea water for removing the vinegar that stain inside the rocks.

Skimmer : Skimz Octa SC205i Protein Skimmer.

FR : H2Ocean FMR75 Fluidised Media Reactor with Hailea HX-2500 (Feeder Pump) running Rowaphos.

CR : Skimz Monzter E Series CM122 Calcium Reactor.

BPR: Marine Source Biopellet  Reactor with Continuum Reef Biopellet Fuel. 

Main Return Pump : SICCE Syncra ADV 9.0 & Jebao ACQ-10000 Water Pump.

I have to take some photos on the current scape before I forgot after cured all this rocks.

Things to take note :

Epoxy the rocks only after the vinegar sokaed as it will soften the calcium and algae deposited on the rock surface.

Didnt monitor that close on my magnesium.

Due to it, the ph fluctuate and also my gonio not opening as was in the past.

After constantly slowly increased back, now can observe the gonio starting extending its PE.

Another symptom where i can use to monitor the magnesium.

After whole tank revamp, now seeing my sps started to encrusting on the epoxy or the rocks....

Due to placement location, the birdnest bottom die...

Nevertheless the colony still happy and growing....

At the same time started dosing Grotech ABCM for the 1st time after so long into marine...

Previously only water change and manual dosing Ca, Mg, Kh.

Maybe should look for dosing pump soon...

That will be allocated in my next embark on Acrylic tank....
