Refractometer

Hi guys I just bought this refractometer yesterday at aunty shop next to ah beng, this is my first time buying...I want to calibrate this refractometer, but somehow I can't as there is no screw hole for me to calibrate it. The cap is metal, I tried turning it but it's tight.... Someone please help!

Anyway, I need to use a small Philips head screw driver and stick it into the metal cap.

Just bought why calibrate? Should be calibrated already. Did you try reading with di water should read 1.0?

Not really true, most instruments are not calibrated unless stated.

My ATC refractometer's calibration screw is covered by a rubber cap which can be easily remove to calibrate. Check the instruction notes in the box to remove yours. It's underneath the cushion for the refractometer.
