what is 6k MH? .. shouldn't you go by number of watts MH? ..

ya.. I know.. the number of kelvins isn't a factor in making the lightings.. its the wattage you should consider.

Like I have a 150w MH, I can use a MH blubs of any k (be it 6k, 10k, 14k or 20k) but I have to only get the 150w ones..

hi bro....wat is the colour of your 6K MH bulb? red/orange colour? for reef tank, you need at least lighting with min 6500K colour..... 6K is too red......
