uv + biopellet ?

im running a 422 fowlr. currently im running on biopellet. thinking of adding uv.

but ive also read about running both together defeats the purpose of biopellet.

any bros have advise on this area ?

on fowlr should i take the biopellet out and run on uv instead ?

Good question..I think the issue will b the UV will kill BB but BB shd b on the biosphere/bioPellet/LR/etc instead of the water..so running both shd b no issue..I will b running UV soon with biosphere..hope they work well..

Just my humble advise, a decent size UV cost at least $300, biopellet n reactor cost $200. For $500, u can get a very good size angelfish. Maintain good water quality n weekly water change will be enough for a fowlr.

Bro, u mean maintain good water quality by weekly water change will b enough for FOWLR? So to say no need to run UV n bioPellet right..waste $..$ use to buy fish better right..haha..cheers understood
