Is this a happy clam?

I have kept clams at 25, 26, 27, 28 degrees. There was once over a weekend where my chiller pump was accidentally off. The temperature went up to more then 30 degrees. I was running a 400w MH and2 tubes of t5 over my 323 sps tank. Everything died except some of my zoas and my 13 clams.

The clam in this picture is now dead. I found a worm bothering it and it died the next day. The worm was in the rock the clam was stuck too so there wasn't much I could do. But that clam went through multiple r escapes and temperatures of 23 to 30 degrees and was doing fine. ...until the worm....
