Make existing white led to blue

Hi all, thinking of pasting blue transparent sheet on existing led light cover. Hope this will make the tank more bluish. Tried on my shrimp tank n result look good. However dont know will this have any impact on coral.

I believe there is no impact on the corals. The sheet is purely just blue sheet. It does not change the wavelength that is still projecting out from your white led

The lumens will be very much suppressed , not enough for photosynthetic.

If you change your white led to slightly blue, the photosynthesis of your freshwater plant may affected...

I actually put alternate blue flim on the light. Ie. Blue white blue white.... so far so good. Mayb due to my light is more than sufficient than the small tank.

I tried the transparent blue plastic sheet on my LED tonight... I just got the blue light effect only, my luminous SPS doesn't stand out unless I use an actual Blue LED.

I do not think you will get the blue spectrum by using the blue plastic film

Oic anyway i looking for z pro series blue led for my tank now. Look like 60cm one out of stock. Will look again this weekend

I also tried it on my tank. Coral really dont stand out in colour. Only visually water look blue.
