SRC Member jackiee Posted July 2, 2014 Author SRC Member Share Posted July 2, 2014 Some updates.. It's been a year since I am into reefing. With no intention to start up Marine till another adventure of doing up my first custom made Marine tank. Many occasion almost give up due to tank crash due to time commitment due to my impatience due to my oversea postings etc.. Fighting on.. I started to fall crazily in love with zoas compared to any other corals.. fulfilling my rainbow color tank, I started importing zoas from neighbouring countries. Taking the risk on the survival of the zoas.. I'm going to setup my tank by this weekend. . Super excited..! Will update pictures soon... Cheers. . SRC Member jackiee Posted August 9, 2014 Author SRC Member Share Posted August 9, 2014 Here are some updates. . It's not easy to build a tank. Always tot tank with a sump have lesser maintenance n easier or better to keep reef perimeters. Again this is all what I have tot. It never happen to what I have tot but is a good lesson to learnt in the hard way.. I think should have study n research more to know what I really want then build. Otherwise you waste money n time building what u don't actually like. Even knowing what u want isn't enough, have to have some experience reefer guiding you. At anytime welcome any comments n advice. Thanks. .. Planning my rock scape. Thinking of a sexy naked bottom. Looking to use only minimum rocks. Like 4 to 5 pieces. And also minimum touch to the bottom. . Forming up. ... is like lego.. Adding salt mix to my frag tank Adding my LR in to my DT Front view Top view 45deg view Coming to the stress part. . Sump setup. . I have always been using IOS.
