Help ID Red Thing Growing on Rock

Hi. I have had this fungus type growth on my live rocks for about 6 months. It grows quite strongly, and is bright red. When you grab it, it pops so tough to pull off. It doesn't seem to be a problem, but I'm very curious what it is.

In this 30cm by 30cm tank I have only sexy shrimp, some mushrooms, 1 x flaming prawn goby, and a lot of atipasia... Please let me know your ID. Thanks!

Thanks. Snoop. Yeah, it looks nice under the LED, but really makes me wonder. I'm mostly concerned to use the same cleaning tools and "pass" it into one of my other tanks.

Thanks, Admiraltian and all. Read a bit about it online and basically seems like a safe, non-sexual macro-algae. Should be good for the tank, and I may just let it go into the others as well.

Xiggie, sure if you're around Holland V, just let me know and we can scrape some into a baggie. basically, it's soft and in bunches, so tough to break off any piece to be honest.
