Pure Jelly Fish tank, anyone have experience???

Do a search in the forum here, the jellies need a special tank, can't remember the name, and I think it is very expensive.

The main problem with the setup is trying to get filtration without hurting the jellies. Conventional filtration will just suck up the jellies and turn them into a pulp. The special tank mentioned sort of creates a current which keeps the jellies in the centre of the tank and out of harm's way.

I was also trying to look for the mechanics of the tank online, thinking of DIY one myself, but there is not much literature on that.

We are off topic now, but I am thinking of setting one up also for culturing of my peppermint or cleaner shrimp fries. ;)

But maybe external... or do what you do in my refugium (which has nothing in it)... sigh... wondering what to do with it. :P

Hi , thinking of setup up a jelly fish tank, does anyone here have any experience in doing that???

wat are the requirement etc

thx

U can go coral reef aquarium at 83 tangore lane to take a look at their pure jelly fish tank.

Can ask them abt the setup. Almost tempted to setup one just like theirs as it's real cute watching the jellyfishes swimming and shimmering in the water..
