SRC Member ozy Posted February 23, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted February 23, 2004 Do a search in the forum here, the jellies need a special tank, can't remember the name, and I think it is very expensive. The main problem with the setup is trying to get filtration without hurting the jellies. Conventional filtration will just suck up the jellies and turn them into a pulp. The special tank mentioned sort of creates a current which keeps the jellies in the centre of the tank and out of harm's way. I was also trying to look for the mechanics of the tank online, thinking of DIY one myself, but there is not much literature on that. SRC Member bubble_gum Posted February 23, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted February 23, 2004 i read this sumwhr b4, the current has to be nt to strong n nt to weak. but the wave action must look like a washing machine on slow mode. and they do need a big tank. SRC Member patrick123 Posted February 25, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted February 25, 2004 I personally didn't think that jellyfish was that attractive that someone would want to keep in their tank... Anyway, I could be wrong.

Achilles Tang
Keeping jellyfish is not as simple as one thinks. You have to feed them BBS heavily EVERYDAY or they'll starve!
