SRC Member Clement Chen Posted May 24, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted May 24, 2014 Hi, had a few jump out of my tank and I am thinking of getting a cover. However I do not want to use egg crates as it blocks a lot of light. Found these ideas on the net. anyone has done this before? They say can use the window mesh holder, but I cant find any. Does anyone knows where to get it? Quote Clem's Clam Corner (Decommed) 60cm x 40cm x 30cm Tank Nano tank reboot v2.

SRC Member woyeng** Posted May 24, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted May 24, 2014 Looks like u need to DIY. What I did was to DIY a 8 inch "wall" that runs around the tank. Don't think fish can jump 8 inch. For those that make it, they deserve to go to heaven Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

SRC Member TanWeiSongBeck Posted May 26, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted May 26, 2014 Sharing is loving. if you guys are interested can email tom at aquariumoverload@yahoo.com. all you have to tell him the size of mesh you want and he can work out the shipping fee for you. I got mine in an envelope size and it is big enough for me to make multiple tank cover.

Oh I see.. Sorry I didn't know that . It looked like any ordinary mesh cover from the picture and I was just wondering why you would want it shipped all the way from us. SRC Member Clement Chen Posted May 27, 2014 Author SRC Member Share Posted May 27, 2014 Get those netting from home fix or self fix store. Look at my tank thread. Hi bro saw ur tank thread, can get a close up of the mesh you are using? and where you get. Most of the ones i see at e hardware of home fix stores have either too small holes or they have big holes but the material they use are very thick, and it blocks a lot of light. I am trying to find one with as minimal light blockage. Quote Clem's Clam Corner (Decommed) 60cm x 40cm x 30cm Tank Nano tank reboot v2.
