Thanks a lot for the compliments!

Anyway my choice of equipment will be as follows

Lighting - may add on 2 more tubes of t5 (if planning to keep sps), for LPS, I think the current setup will be sufficient.

Skimmer - BM C6(decommed from old tank), may upgrade to a BM Curve 7 or 9

Chiller - Hailea 1/4 powered fed with Boyu 1500l/hr

H2Ocean FR1 = Rowaphos+Rowacarbon with a 600l/hr Aquazonic feeder, using ball valve to regulate flow

H2Ocean FR2 = Bio Pellets with a 600l/hr Aquazonic feeder, using ball valve to regulate flow

Wavemaker = 2X WP 25

Not intending to use any dosing pumps for now or calcium reactor. Might just do manual topups or DIY a dosing pump.

Are you using the 120W or 180W Mazarra-P series? How do you find it? I am planning to start my tank and wanted to have SPS. Not sure if I should go for T5 or LED.

Managed to tweak my equipment placing a little bit to incorporate a fuge in my sump. Hopefully this works.

After about 3 weeks since start of cycling, nitrates at 2, calc at 410 and phosphate at 0.1.

Hopefully the addition of chaeto will help to lessen the po4.

Mine is very irregular but I think it's because of my bio pellet kicking in. Now it seems to be quite stable. Sitting around 7 inches, setting no 2.5.

I had issues with it at the start as well, apparently it has to sit quite high.

3 weeks cycling period is considered very fast, is it because of daily dose of MB7?

Actually my cycle ended earlier than that.

After my 5th day, I already had 0.1 ammonia and 0.1 nitrite with 5 nitrate, but yes, daily dosing of 25ml mb7.

Will be great if anyone can tell me the calling names of some of the corals I have, especially the zoas. Pretty new to sps and no idea what's the usual calling names are...
