when I was keeping morays years back, I fed frozen silversides, squid and prawns with no problems. Not sure if cooking is really necessary and whether it will reduce nutritional content of the food

Yeah, some of these frozen seafood are partially cooked prior to the freezing process to slow down decomposition...

Nah... NO3 still high. Managed to get my hands on a piece of Poly filter. Will try it soon.

Ah Beng also sell phosphate filter So if want to reduce both nitrate and phosphate, must use 2 layers of the filter Liao ?
