So? The number of years you have been in the hobby doesn't automatically qualify or make you a senior or an expert. It is through sharing of experiences, exchanging info, and giving PRACTICAL and USEFUL advice that helps to increase our knowledge to become experienced reefers.

I've been in the hobby and in this forum since 2004 and till now I dare not call myself an expert. I'm still learning from bros here everyday.

Peace bro.There are many ways to solve a problem and different pple will be comfortable with different methods. Mine is a mixed reef so I cannot get buffer and trigger even though if I had a fowlr I definitely will get a trigger bcos I think they are gorgeous fish.For my case, getting suggestions and feednacks really eventually motivated me to want to get those critters, so it's not so much the actually idea but the group motivating me to want to solve this problem which I m thankful. You mentioned you've reefed for 2 years. So what are you trying to imply then?

Now, we can go on harping about newbies, experts and number of years etc but the fact is you gave bad advice.

I'm sure all this bickering doesn't benefit anyone of us here.

I started this marine hobby in 1996... I still consider myself a noob as there are so much to learn from others' experiences..

and I am learning from a fellow reefer who started this hobby much later than me but gave me solid advises that works

I just found the other crab and speared it with my chopsticks.... Heard a crunch sound but dunno if it's crunch of the LR or the critter... Keeping my fingers crossed...

found 2 crab in my tank. need to think how to catch it

My way : off all aqua and room lights for 30 mins .use a torch and look for crabs . If can remove the rocks . If the crab can be dig out , it goes to the sump . If not then it's murder for me .
