Hi guys. Any experience w 2 skimmer above? Which one should be used for 3 or 4 ft sps w fish tank?

Deltec 1455 - small footprint. Low power consumption. Great performance. Germany brand.

Skimz sm 201- powerful pump. Local support.

Bro why not consider Vertex Omega 150? Price about the same as Deltec SC1455..

Yes Bro was considering that also but its pump really takes lots space outside. Also heard the issue that pump can't fit in due to hole level different. So I didn't add it to my list.

U recommend it? Outstanding review?

Bro

That was only a one off isolated case according to Iwarna. I was the first one to procure a unit and cannot ask for more as Vertex skimmer are OEM from the venerable Bubble King series from Royal Exclusiv ! Highly recommended !

  • 4 months later...

i used to use the skimz, not the 201 but the sm121. 3 foot tank. recently changed to a deltec 1455, and I find that the build quality is good for both but just a little nicer for the deltec. The deltec footprint is also very small if your sump is small like mine
