SRC Member surreal1228 Posted May 18, 2014 Author SRC Member Share Posted May 18, 2014 Bro why not consider Vertex Omega 150? Price about the same as Deltec SC1455.. Yes Bro was considering that also but its pump really takes lots space outside. Also heard the issue that pump can't fit in due to hole level different. So I didn't add it to my list. U recommend it? jand118
Bro That was only a one off isolated case according to Iwarna. I was the first one to procure a unit and cannot ask for more as Vertex skimmer are OEM from the venerable Bubble King series from Royal Exclusiv ! Highly recommended ! SRC Member Aquareef123 Posted May 20, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted May 20, 2014 I use skimz 203.
Nox
i used to use the skimz, not the 201 but the sm121. 3 foot tank. recently changed to a deltec 1455, and I find that the build quality is good for both but just a little nicer for the deltec. The deltec footprint is also very small if your sump is small like mine

SRC Member illumnae Posted October 16, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted October 16, 2014 I'm using Skimz 203 DC version for my 422, very happy with it. For my office nano, will be switching to the Skimz SH-1 and BR-80 biopellet reactor. I'm quite impressed with the build quality of Skimz
