Hi Guy's , found this unidentified shrimp crawling on my LR recently minding it's own business..... Must have came with the LR's or some corals I bought. Has a transparent body with very long pincers. Walks steadily and jumps from LR to LR easily. Could qualify for the olympics in the marine world..... Has some brown markings on it's head and a little more on it's back. Other then that it's totaly transparent...quite difficult to spot at times if not for the markings.

looks like one of those saron shrimps.. just the pincers not that large..

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

The most important factor now is whether it is reef safe .. :heh:

yes so far it's been leaving my corals alone and I have not seen it trying to scavenge or pick even when it gets near to any of the hard corals unlike that Camel shrimp.... It has much longer pincers then the camel and should teach the Camels some mannerism....
