SRC Member ml708 Posted May 15, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted May 15, 2014 I have a Duncan coral that used to open all the time, however ever since I stopped target feeding it does not open as often. Is this normal? I have heard that it is not necessary to target feed Duncan.

Since you say after stopping feeding..Maybe your duncans are Accustomed To Being fed..But if you are not feeding they can slowly get used to it..no worries..But makesure to Check your water..So easier to troubleshoot if its not the feedings.. cheers rgds Ash Quote 300Gallons of Pure Goodness! >Dimensions 6x2x2 (Foot) 1: Maxspect 160 Watt qty-2 2: Vortech MP 40 Wes 3:Jaebao WP40 qty-2 3: Skimz Becket Skimmer/ Ehiem 1260 4: Dymax XC 900 Calcium Reactor 5: American Pinpoint PH Controller 6: Iwaki MD 55 And MD 70 (Return) 7: Hydra Aquatics FR45 Reactor 8:Hailea 10HP Chiller R2R forum->>>http://www.reef2reef.com/forums/photography-forum/154896-ashwins-reefing-photography.html

SRC Member ml708 Posted May 15, 2014 Author SRC Member Share Posted May 15, 2014 True, I dipped it in a coral scrub before. Only thing I can think of is my orange spot filefish nipping it, but they eat exclusively sps isn't it. Mine feed on reef food coated on a sps skeleton
